These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the website Hollandos.com (the “Website”) and form the agreement between the customer (the “Customer”) and the owner of Hollandos.com (the “Seller”).
By placing an order through the Website, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Applicability
2.1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made through Hollandos.com.
2.2. The Terms & Conditions are made available to the Customer before an order is placed and can be saved or downloaded by the Customer.
2.3. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
2.4. These Terms & Conditions do not affect any mandatory statutory rights the Customer has under applicable consumer law.
2.5. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
3. Products and Offers
3.1. Hollandos.com sells books and other physical products, including but not limited to merchandise and products related to the Hollandos series.
3.2. Product descriptions, images, specifications and other information are provided as accurately as reasonably possible.
3.3. Minor differences between a product and its photograph or description, such as differences in colour or appearance caused by screen settings, do not necessarily constitute a defect.
3.4. All prices displayed on the Website are stated in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.5. Any applicable delivery costs will be clearly displayed before the Customer completes the order.
3.6. Hollandos.com reserves the right to correct obvious errors in pricing or product information. If an order has been placed based on an obvious error, the Customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and may cancel the order.
4. Orders
4.1. The Customer places an order by completing the ordering process on the Website and submitting the order with the applicable payment obligation.
4.2. Before submitting an order, the Customer will be given the opportunity to review and correct the information provided.
4.3. An order constitutes an offer by the Customer to purchase the selected products.
4.4. The purchase agreement is concluded when Hollandos.com confirms the order to the Customer by e-mail, unless Hollandos.com informs the Customer that the order cannot be accepted.
4.5. Hollandos.com will send the Customer a written order confirmation containing the relevant details of the purchase.
4.6. If an ordered product is unexpectedly unavailable, Hollandos.com will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible and will refund any amount already paid for that product.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1. Payment can be made using the payment methods offered on the Website.
5.2. At the time of writing, Hollandos.com accepts:
iDEAL
Bank transfer
Klarna
PayPal
5.3. Payment must be completed using the payment instructions provided during the ordering process.
5.4. An order will generally not be shipped until payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed.
5.5. If payment by bank transfer is selected, the order may be processed after the payment has been received and identified.
5.6. Hollandos.com reserves the right to cancel an order if payment is not received within a reasonable period.
6. Delivery
6.1. Hollandos.com will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders within the delivery period stated on the Website.
6.2. The applicable estimated delivery time will be communicated to the Customer before the purchase is completed.
6.3. If a specific delivery period has been agreed, Hollandos.com will make reasonable efforts to meet that period.
6.4. If delivery is delayed, Hollandos.com will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible.
6.5. If Hollandos.com is unable to deliver an order within the agreed period, the Customer will have the rights provided by applicable law, including the right to cancel the agreement where applicable.
6.6. Products will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the Customer during the ordering process.
6.7. The Customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
6.8. If a parcel cannot be delivered because the Customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, additional delivery costs may apply where legally permitted.
7. Transfer of Risk
7.1. For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage to the product remains with Hollandos.com until the product has been delivered to the Customer or to a person designated by the Customer to receive it, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.
8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1. If the Customer is a consumer, the Customer generally has the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.
8.2. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day after the Customer, or a person designated by the Customer, receives the product.
8.3. If an order consists of several products delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day after the Customer receives the final product.
8.4. The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal by:
using the withdrawal function provided on Hollandos.com;
sending an explicit withdrawal notice by e-mail to worldofhollandos@gmail.com; or
using the statutory model withdrawal form.
8.5. The Customer does not have to provide a reason for withdrawing from the purchase.
8.6. After notifying Hollandos.com of the withdrawal, the Customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying Hollandos.com of the withdrawal.
8.7. The Customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, unless Hollandos.com has agreed to bear these costs or the Customer was not informed about the return costs before purchase.
8.8. The Customer must handle the product and its packaging with reasonable care during the withdrawal period. The Customer may inspect the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
8.9. If the product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess it, the Customer may be liable for any resulting reduction in value, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Refunds
9.1. When the Customer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, Hollandos.com will refund the payments received from the Customer, including the standard delivery costs paid for the original shipment.
9.2. If the Customer chose a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery option offered by Hollandos.com, the additional delivery costs will not be refunded.
9.3. Hollandos.com will make the refund within 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice.
9.4. Hollandos.com may delay the refund until the returned product has been received or until the Customer provides evidence that the product has been returned, whichever occurs first.
9.5. Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method.
10. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
10.1. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products for which an exception under applicable law applies.
10.2. Where applicable, Hollandos.com will clearly inform the Customer before purchase that the right of withdrawal does not apply.
10.3. Examples may include products that have been made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised, where the statutory conditions for an exception are met.
11. Defective or Incorrect Products
11.1. Hollandos.com is responsible for ensuring that products supplied to consumers conform to the agreement and meet the requirements imposed by applicable law.
11.2. If a product is defective, damaged upon arrival, incomplete, or materially different from what was ordered, the Customer should contact Hollandos.com as soon as reasonably possible at worldofhollandos@gmail.com.
11.3. Where a Customer has a statutory right to repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation because a product does not conform to the agreement, Hollandos.com will comply with the Customer's statutory rights.
11.4. The Customer's statutory warranty rights are not limited by these Terms & Conditions.
12. Complaints
12.1. Customers are encouraged to report complaints to Hollandos.com as soon as possible so that an appropriate solution can be found.

12.3. Please include, where applicable:
the order number;
the product concerned;
a description of the complaint; and
photographs or other relevant information where this helps explain the issue.
12.4. Hollandos.com will respond to a complaint within a reasonable period and will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
12.5. Submitting a complaint does not affect any statutory rights the Customer may have.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1. All intellectual property rights relating to the Hollandos name, books, characters, artwork, illustrations, logos, text, images and other original content displayed on the Website belong to Hollandos.com, its author, or the respective rights holder, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
13.2. The Customer may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially exploit copyrighted content from the Website or Hollandos books without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder.
13.3. Purchasing a physical copy of a Hollandos book does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the book or its contents to the Customer.
14. Website Content
14.1. Hollandos.com makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date.
14.2. However, Hollandos.com does not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.
14.3. Hollandos.com may modify, update or remove Website content where reasonably necessary.
15. Liability
15.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
15.2. Hollandos.com is not liable for indirect damage or consequential loss except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
15.3. Nothing in this section limits the Customer's statutory consumer rights.
16. Privacy
16.1. Personal data provided when placing an order will be processed in accordance with the Hollandos.com Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
17.1. Hollandos.com may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary, for example following changes in legislation or changes to the Website.
17.2. The version of the Terms & Conditions applicable to an order is the version that was made available to the Customer before the order was placed.
17.3. Changes to these Terms & Conditions will not affect agreements that have already been concluded, unless the law requires otherwise.
18. Applicable Law
18.1. These Terms & Conditions and agreements concluded through Hollandos.com are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
18.2. If the Customer is a consumer residing in another country within the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive the Customer of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the Customer's country of residence.
18.3. Any disputes will be handled by the competent court in accordance with applicable law.
