History of Queens and Kings

= Blessed by the Seven Stars for their entire reign

= Blessed by the Seven Stars, but later disowned

= Never blessed by the Seven stars

✦ 365 - 399 | Juliana II Kroon The Burdened

Granddaughter to Queen Beatrice I Kroon. Her reign started with the tragedy of Veluwos, where a devastating storm struck and took thousands of lives. Tasked with rehousing all the remaining people in Gearrock, Juliana’s reign started with a heavy burden. She made Gearrock the new capital of Gravos—instead of Kristalos—and gave it the same name, which in turn also helped Kristalos manage its inhabitants.

✧ 352 - 363 | Philip IV Kroon The Deceiver

King Philip IV Kroon is known for his efforts to defy the wishes of his mother Queen Beatrice I Kroon by marrying Greta Hoffman, a woman who arrived from the Outside via the portal in 331 AS after fleeing from her home world when war struck. She married Prince Philip and later became Queen of Hollandos.

King Philip was close friends with the Chief Blacksmith in Gravos, named Kryston Stone. Their plan was to expand the kingdom of Gravos to the untamed wilds east of the main province. To achieve this, they started building a brand new city at the west side of those wilds, named 's-Hertstone—which they build inside the wall of a giant mountain.

Philip was convinced by his wife to abuse his power by laying ruin on everything that had symbolism of the Outside World, because she didn’t want war to spread to Hollandos. He build a great fort close to the sanctuary and prepared for his assault on both the sanctuary and the Zevenmill. He started with bombing the Sanctuary of the Original, creating a giant hole—which later became known as the Quarry of the Original.

After he comminated this horrendous crime, he became engulfed in guild as the people of Hollandos protested. King Philip divorced Greta and took his own life shortly afterwards by jumping into the quarry. Greta Hoffman was arrested for her crimes against the Starcrown and was send to the Hollefort.

✦ 307 - 352 | Beatrice I Kroon The Lonely

Daughter to King Viktor III Kroon, she often ruled Hollandos in isolation. She was afraid of people and didn’t listen to the council after what happened to her father and brother, resulting in months spent alone in her palace. The people remember her for keeping peace in the world. Even though they never got to see her in person, they always held great faith in the queen. She had a notable strained relationship with her husband and children, so she blessed her granddaughter Juliana to become the next ruler.

◎ 292 - 307 | Viktor IV Kroon The Fallen

A king that also received the gift of magic. Sadly, after his father was poisoned, he became just as mad as him and tried to attack the Starfall Academy in order to destroy Katinko, who he blamed for the act. In a Legendary fight, later referred as the Duel of the Comets, both Magister Katinko Orion and King Viktor IV Kroon hovered over the space tree, Komeequoia, battling like two striking comets. Here is where his reign violently ended after he was killed.

✧ 260 - 292 | Viktor III Kroon The Mad

Son to Queen Emma II Kroon. He had to step up as king at the young age of ten, then fought in the Drumosan war for the crown—where the army of Drumos tried to take over. He was very wise at a young age and decided to request aid of his realm. He called out to the leaders of Zeelos, Herros, and Friesos, who quickly came of aid. He also officially made Lillios the twelfth province, and giving them the right to choose their own provincial leader.

As he grew older, his reign spiralled into chaos. He sought absolute power and devised a plan to get this. Viktor III called for his allies to come for a feast on Viktorsday 283 AS. Here is where he poisoned and killed all three provincial leaders, including Magister Gaja Orion, mother of Katinko Orion. After this dark day, the provinces rebelled while he ruled with an iron fist. Only when he was poisoned by magic, his reign ended.

✦ 240 - 260 | Emma II Kroon The Lost

Daughter to King Frederick I Kroon. After years of King Frederick using the people of Hollandos to battle for entertainment, Drumos started questioning the crown. They made a plan to recruit armies from the Outside, as their god had ordered them. This way they could eliminate the Seven Stars and Drumos would become the new world order.

But before they reached the Zevenmill, Queen Emma made a plan to close it. She sacrificed herself to close the mill and her body was never found.

✦ 209 - 240 | Frederick I Kroon The Lacking

Grandson to King Philip III Kroon. He was absent during Viktorsday 208 AS due to severe illness, so he only rose as King in 209 AS. Despite holding his power for quite some time, his only know accomplishment is building the Frederick Arena in Amstos to entertain himself with citizen show-battles. He is often described as underwhelming because of his lack of accomplishments, making the people of Hollandos question why the Seven Stars chose him in the first place.

✦ 148 - 207 | Emma I Zorrega The Great

Sister of Bernhard I Zorrega. She united the people by promising that the when she stepped down, the crown would go back to the Kroon family. Her promised was uttered underneath the Seven Stars on Viktorsday, who answered by blessing that very promise.

She worked closely with relatives of Kroon by marrying Constatine Kroon, son of Philip III Kroon. Together, they got a son named Frederick. She also created the city of Gearrock to support production and improved roads and the economy, and expanded the kingdom to Drumos after making peace.

She combatted the floods in Kristalos by ordering a new piece of land, which would later become the province of Lillios. She also created the Council of Twelve, to keep peace in Hollandos.

◎ 148 - 148 | Bernhard I Zorrega The Outsider

Bernhard killed King Philip and claimed the Starcrown for himself without the blessing of the Seven Stars. But after just half a day of being king, he ordered to execute the entire Kroon family, which were only mere children. He was stopped and executed himself by his sister, Emma Zorrega.

◎ 147 - 148 | Philip III Kroon The Usurper

He killed his own father and claimed the Starcrown, despite the Seven Stars failing to bless him. King Philip III Kroon worked together with the leader of the Outsiders, Bernhard Zorrega. Philip and Bernhard claimed the provinces of Herros and Gravos. They rounded up their leaders next to King Viktor I Kroon’s statue in Amstos to kill them. Bernhard then betrayed King Philip by killing him instead.

✦ 145 - 147 | Viktor II Kroon The Brave

Son of Queen Kenau I Kroon. His reign started in an all-out war between Hollandos and the Outsiders, who came pouring in from the Zevenmill. Together with the leaders of Gravos and Herros, he fought back bravely.

He almost won the war, but was killed by his son Philip in the Battle of the Crown Shores, which would later be named the Shores of the Outsider.

During his reign, a rogue priest from the Starfall Temple called Dumos Maximus created a new hostile province.

✦ 124 - 145 | Kenau I Kroon The Lightbringer

Daughter of Queen Juliana I Kroon. As a young princess, she had a vision that the Outside world and Hollandos would clash. When she got older, she travelled to the Isle of Stars and saw the seven stars hanging above her head. Overwhelmed with awe, she looked up to see seven stars illuminating the night sky, interpreting them as messages from the gods.

Inspired by these revelations, Kenau established a great cathedral on the Isle of Stars, spreading the religion across Hollandos and starting the Province of Atlanos. This widespread believe made her a beloved queen.

Ten years after she had her first vision, she experienced another vision revealing a magical source hidden in the Zeelos forests. She found a bright light in the forests of Zeelos, which was later named after her: Kenau's Light. She founded a magical academy here, intertwining her faith and the art of witchcraft. Thus, the roots of both the religion and the school are deeply connected, reflecting her journey and divine guidance.

In her later years, she became obsessed with the power of magic. She hid herself away in a tower and experiences vivid dreams of the birthplace where King Viktor I Krone sailed from. She needed to go there and desperately tried to find a way to do so.

In a final attempt, she succeeded in creating a working portal disguised as a mill—the Zevenmill—connecting Hollandos to the Outside world. In doing so, she was killed by the experiment. As a result of her mill, people flooded in and the Outsider Uprising began.

✦ 116 - 124 | Juliana I Kroon The Negotiator

Daughter to King Philip I Kroon. She ended the Vulkaanian conflict by ending the violence and setting new terms with the Vulkaanian people. They became part of their kingdom and their land would be called Vulkos, a new province. She gave away the crown to her daughter after a mere eight years of ruling.

✧ 111 - 114 | Philip II Kroon The Warmonger

Son of King Philip I Kroon. He started the Vulkaanian conflict and was killed by the Vulkaanian people after driving them away from their homes.

✧ 47 - 111 | Philip I Kroon The Explorer

Grandson of King Viktor I Kroon. He ordered the building roads, he expanded the city of Amstos, and connected the kingdom to the valley of Veluwos. But he wanted more, so he ventured south east. This is where he encountered the Vulkaanian people, who stood in his way to create the next province, Vulkos. In order to get this land, he needed to wage war on the Vulkaanian people. He ordered the creation of the Stuppersvault to finance his army and later made it a new province called Stuppos. As he was building an army to fight the Vulkaanian people, he died of old age, before he could make Vulkos a province.

✦ 1 - 47 | Viktor I Kroon The Settler

The Herringshark Captain, and the founder of Hollandos. He never wanted to be an absolute ruler, yet he was a great king that brought his people to safety in time of war. Under his rule, the provinces of Herros, Amstos, Poldos, Friesos, Zeelos, and Gravos began.
